Fall 5K Training Group : Register Here!
Presented by:
Our Fall 5k Training Group is a two-tiered program for beginners and veteran 5k runners. If it is your first 5k, we will guide you through the journey to cross the finish line with confidence. If you have trained with us before or have already checked the 5k box, we will focus more on intensity and improving your 5k time. This is a 10 week training program and will take place every Wednesday evening, at 5:30pm, starting on September 13th. We will finish strong by racing the Maine Track Club Turkey Trot 5k on Sunday, November 19th.
As part of the Fall 5k Training Program, participants will receive the following:
- A 10 week training program and calendar with workouts provided to you.
- Dedicated support and individual attention from your Coaches.
- One structured in person coaching session a week
- Strength training sessions, informational clinics, and shoe demos.
- The camaraderie of others like you with the same goal!
- Fun training!

Colin Jones
My name is Colin. I grew up in Scarborough, Maine where I developed a passion for middle distance running. After high school I attended the University of Southern Maine where I ran cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track and earned the William B Wise Scholar Athlete award for all four years . Since graduating college in 2019 I have served as the distance running coach at Scarborough High School during the indoor and outdoor track seasons. During the fall 2021 season I also served as the assistant coach for the high school cross country team.
When I am not running on the roads I am busy running my own business. I enjoy traveling, partaking in southern Maine’s incredible food scene, and spending time in Bridgton, Maine on the lake!
